The third opus in the series on instrumental music in England is available Harmonia Mundi!<\/p>\n

For this new installment devoted to British instrumental music of the 18th century, La R\u00eaveuse invites us to discover London in the 1740s. The great Italian and German virtuosi Handel invited into his orchestra brought a powerful wind of innovation to English musical life, while the Scotsman James Oswald succeeded in making his country’s music fashionable in London salons.<\/p>\n

Florence Bolton will be on Fr\u00e9quence Protestante on September 10 at 12:30 and Radio Classique on September 16 at 8:30 to talk about this exciting project.<\/p>\n
