The nightingale’s night

The birds concert

20 h 00 - 22 h 00

Musée de la Musique - Philarmonie de Paris

221, avenue Jean-Jaurès
Paris, 75019

The song of birds is very different from the song of instruments and yet no other animal has ever inspired musicians and composers as much, from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. This program evokes, through the fascination for birdsong, a certain vision of music in the 17th and 18th centuries, between science, nature and culture, and mirrors works from the 20th and 21st centuries...   Koske Nozaki, recorder   Olivier, traverso   Florence Bolton, viola da gamba   Benjamin Perrot, theorbo   Jean-Miguel Aristizabal, harpsichord
